INCTR is an NGO in
official relations with WHO

In 2010, INCTR appointed Dr. D. Maxwell Parkin to establish a Cancer Registration Program. Dr. Parkin was formerly the head of Descriptive Epidemiology at the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) and was responsible for monitoring global patterns and trends of cancer. His enormous experience in cancer registration, particularly in the context of less developed countries will be invaluable to INCTR. The program will initially focus on building a network of registries in East Africa.
