The Pediatric Oncology Program has been instrumental in organizing meetings to discuss and design studies of relevance to low and middle income countries. These studies have been designed with input from the team of pediatric oncologists representing low and middle income countries and will include a descriptive study of nasopharyngeal carcinoma, the treatment of Wilms’ tumor, and the collection of descriptive information about the presentation features of retinoblastoma. The group has worked with the Clinical Research Program in the preparation of protocol documents for the studies.
These studies are described in more detail in the Clinical Research Program section.
